how is that simer boost pump holding up

Amazon link says it will not charge the batteries on the charger of the tool brand.

I bought this saw June 13, 2024 and have only assembled the wheels (one wheel hits the base plate so renders it a bit disabled- bad design) and the plastic dust guard ( has the cheapest little metal clips that snap out of place repeatedly just handling the tool) and noticed the base plate is such flimsy metal that it won't hold the saw blade straight vertically. So if you don't mind those three cheap as garbage factors then on to the next thing which is that I powered it up and it sounds ok at first but when the motor slows down it is obvious the bearings are already grinding in an unhealthy way. I will return the tool and try to plug in a different one to see if it sounds better. I can fabricate some beefier base plate and make it work if I can find one with a motor that sounds good. 200$ as a club member cost.

you don't need a grinder with a diamond blade all you need is your regular circular saw put a carbide blade for a few bucks & your on your way

May I suggest that you not touch the saw blade with the battery installed and your finger on or near the trigger.

I just bought the exact machine with the 20% Coupon so out the door for $319. I like the machine. It runs solid and does the job. I've seen a few videos by a guy named Doc on RUclips who says that you should have a minimum of 8,000 cleaning units derived by multiplying pressure x gallons/min - so for this machine you get 3200 x 2.8 = 8960...so well above the sweetspot of 8000 Doc says you really want. The pressure washer is a good deal on the coupon. I've cleaned everything I needed to. My only problem is it vibrates so much...dances around all over the place. Grin. But it is powerful and pretty lightweight.

Does that hose go right onto the pump or do you need a fitting to attach it?

I might have one bauer tool most of the tools I have are ryobi what I did was I have 2 batteries here they are expensive dewalts but what ever adatpers I do have here everything has an adapter even the ryobi shop vac so I can keep using dewalt batteries and dont need to swtich brands !!!!

You didnt need the flex connectors seeing you are using pex piping.

Inside of my drawers (with the cheap teflon ball setup like yours) is already the wood you suggest installing to receive slow close hardware. So do I simply add the slow close on top of existing guide (with 1/2" shim) then connect like you did and remove old junkie teflon slides and repeat? Detail question...Is it TWO 1/2" shims or a total of 1/2" shim above old track? How does shim stay in after removing OLD slide?

I was planning to rent but this video is an honest review. Looked good to me. I went out at lunch and bought this yesterday from my local HF. I'll be trying it out over the weekend. I bought the Hercules general purpose blade for 90 bucks. I hope it makes the cut i need.

Those long long coal trains, takes the breath away, I think one of them was almost half as long as my main line.

Thanks for the detailed instruction. It's a bit concerning there was no mention of an expansion tank when, according to your responses in the comments, you have one. Had I not read the comments, I never would have known. Maybe edit the video or at a minimum add a note in the description that you are in fact utilizing an expansion tank.
